Why I say no to challenge?

Part 1 –Introduction:

Every day we face challenges. It may be personal, professional, relationships or for some, there’s the word diet. Yes! D-I-E-T. Diet. It is a struggle. Nowadays many people in the world from adults to children of all ages with approximately 2.1 billion people in the world are obese. I struggle losing weight on my own and get frustrated every single time. It’s so hard to avoid sweets, fast food and let’s face it, junk food is life! It’s very hard to maintain a great figure and a firm belly. But have you ever wondered to challenge yourself and be the change you always aim to be?

Part 2-Problem:

Cravings. One of my worst enemy is my cravings. It’s not that I’m hungry all the time but I crave a lot, like any other young woman of my age especially whenever my period is coming. My cravings are off the roof! What I am craving? Junk food! Unhealthy and convenient junk food. It’s uncontrollable at times. I know it’s a lame excuse but what can I do? It’s hard to not satisfy your cravings. But having a huge appetite is not a problem that doesn’t have a solution. Luckily I found some alternative ways to satisfy my cravings without sabotaging my diet.

Part 3-Solution:

Being on a diet for so long is quite depressing. It’s exhausting and sometimes frustrating. Some say that a balanced diet and regular exercise is the key to maintain a great body which is correct. But finding the right diet for you on your phase with your choice of food is I think is the best way to loosen up some weights. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that It’s ok to still eat junk food as much as you can but I believe that with the right amount or portion is ok. I mean you can still eat some junk food but make sure you eat healthy as much as possible. Like for example, instead of eating a huge amount of meals, have a small healthy frequent meal. Then eat a small portion of junk food once a week as a reward for yourself. In this way, you trick your body into thinking of eating healthy and rewarding it by eating a small portion of junk food let’s say once a week until you can get it out your system. No feeling of guilt and not feeling deprived by your diet. Exercise 2-3 times a week and increase the routine every week. This way it will help your body burn fat faster than your regular exercise. Lastly is stay hydrated. A doctor once said that you also have to trick your body and mind for healthy living. It makes you happier and relax. Once you’re ready for this challenge, you can finally start your way to a healthier life. No more excuses.
